Our independent stylists operate their own business within the salon, allowing freedom to service their clients in a highly personalize manner.
To book with independent stylists, you must connect directly with them.

Shayla
Hairstylist & Make-up Artist
Owner
Shayla specializes is dimensional colors, fashion unique colors and customized cuts.
She is also a sought after hair and makeup artist for weddings all over New England.

When she is not at the salon she is with her her two boys, family and friends. She loves volunteering with her community and theater.
Sue
Cutting Specialist
Sue has been cutting hair for over 30 years and is very talented with her cutting. She can help find the right style for your hairstyle and lifestyle.

When she is not in the salon she is with her family and her husky/German Shepard mix. Sue loves spending time in Maine during the beautiful seasons.
Sam
Front Desk Support
Sam is the friendly smile you see when you walk in. She is our Front Desk Support taking care of customers and keeping the salon going. She also assists Shayla during coloring and weding services.

Sam is currently enrolled in the Cosmetology program at Pinkerton.
She also is a dancer and will be performing in the local Nutcracker.

Bridget
Independent Stylist
Bridget has been in the industry for many years and has held many roles. She is known for her high energy and dedication to her clients.

When she is not in the salon she is with her family, dogs, and being involved in her children's sports.

Independent Stylist
Renee has been taking care of her clients for over 20 years. Her clients love her positive outlook on situations.

Kim
Independent Stylist
Kim O’Brien is a balayage and curl specialist with a lifelong passion for hair. She started out at a salon in 2017 assisting and learning from master stylists before graduating cosmetology school in 2018. Though she is known for lived-in blondes and her signature curl cut, she prides herself in being able to work with every hair texture.
When she’s not working behind the chair, you can find Kim hiking mountains, going to the gym, or reading a good book at home and snuggling with her two cats.

Hair Stylist- We are looking for passionate colorists who are dedicated to always learning and exploring new techniques.
Esthetician- We are looking for someone who is excited about helping others find confidence in their skin.
Makeup Artist- We are very active with weddings and proms throught the year and need passionate artists with an eye.
Wedding Hair Stylist- We also need hair stylists for our special events who are creative and talented.
Salon Supervisor- With us continuing to expand, we need someone to help manage the salon while continuing to work behind the chair. We need someone enthusastic about customer service and helping other stylists grow.
Renters- We aren't always accepting renters, but if we can help accomodate you and your needs we will try!
